The animals raised for meat are loved and well tended with just 'one bad day'. Many vegetarian and vegan friends are happy to be part of this humane meat production and the animals are treated to the end with calm reverence and respect.
We culled our ram lambs and produced our own meat... our own carefully raised lamb. It's absolutely delicious and we even used the offal to make haggis.
Then the bird flu hit... and it was time to cull our ducks.
